Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to speak Kinyarwanda to volunteer?
While knowing Kinyarwanda is helpful for some roles, it's not required for all positions. Many of our students speak English, and translation support is available when needed.
Is there a minimum time commitment?
Most of our volunteer roles require at least a 3-month commitment to ensure continuity for our programs and participants.
Do you provide housing for international volunteers?
We can assist international volunteers with finding accommodation, but we do not directly provide housing.
Can I volunteer remotely?
Yes, we have several remote volunteer opportunities, particularly in areas like communications, grant writing, and strategic planning.
