Visit to Tubiteho Charity Center – Standing for Inclusion and Compassion
As part of its mission to empower youth to create positive social change, Youth Uplift Initiative organized a community outreach visit to Tubiteho Charity Center, a facility dedicated to caring for children living with mental health disabilities.
During the visit, YUP members spent time engaging with the children through conversations, shared activities, and moments of connection that emphasized dignity, empathy, and human connection. The goal was not only to bring material support but also to create a space where the children felt seen, valued, and included.
Together with our partners at Never Again Rwanda, we delivered clothing and sanitation supplies to contribute to the daily needs of the children and the center. This collaboration highlighted the power of partnerships in addressing social challenges and promoting compassion within communities.
Beyond the donations, the visit reinforced a deeper purpose: to advocate for greater awareness, inclusion, and support for children living with mental health disabilities. Youth Uplift Initiative remains committed to amplifying their voices, encouraging community understanding, and inspiring young people to take action for a more inclusive and caring society.
